Hidden motions detection by the example of analysis of sucking activity of prematurity by video
Enteral nutrition is an important aspect of the development of preterm infants. The sucking reflex is formed even in the intrauterine developmental process and further influences the formation of the psyche in early childhood. According to the sucking activity stage of developmen, the overall growth of the child, the state of the central nervous system and the gastrointestinal tract are evaluated.
Nowadays, the development of the sucking reflex is assessed visually. An effective quantitative factor in evaluating the reflex is the amount of milk received. We are trying to objectively assess the degree of development of the sucking reflex using meta-analysis methods and introduce a metric. This will allow in the future to evaluate the effectiveness of stimulation methods, monitor the dynamics of development of premature babies.
